THE LADDER IS A SPACE FOR STORIES
“If I can fund the ladder, the people will climb,” said the building’s founder and benefactor, Passmore Edwards, in 1895.
His gift to the people of Redruth became a public library, serving the town for 125 years before falling into disrepair.
Following extensive restoration, it has been transformed into a home for creativity: performance and rehearsal spaces, co-working studios, and a vibrant community of artists, writers and makers.
THE COLLECTOR TICKETS
Step inside The Collector, a brand-new immersive theatre experience by acclaimed Cornish playwright Carl Grose, inspired by the extraordinary imagination of the late Bill Mitchell, founder of Wildworks and one of Cornwall’s most influential creative visionaries.
Performances are throughout October on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
