A new immersive theatre experience by Carl Grose
There's a door in Redruth that shouldn't be there...
Hidden behind a huge metal door marked DANGERY ZONE, a world unlike any other is waiting to be discovered.
Step inside The Collector, a brand-new immersive theatre experience by acclaimed Cornish playwright Carl Grose, inspired by the extraordinary imagination of the late Bill Mitchell, founder of Wildworks and one of Cornwall's most influential creative visionaries.
Part cabinet of curiosities, part underground bunker, The Collector transports audiences into a strange and beautiful future shaped by the objects we choose to keep, the stories we pass on, and the memories we refuse to let disappear.
Your guide is Genni. You'll meet The Collector. And by the time you leave, you may never look at the world in quite the same way.
Created for audiences of all ages, this intimate production blends theatre, storytelling and immersive design to create an unforgettable adventure through a world of wonder, humour and mystery.
Inspired by Bill's legendary collection of found objects and treasures, known as Bill's Attic, the production celebrates Cornwall's rich tradition of bold, imaginative theatre while asking timeless questions about legacy, loss and what it means to collect a life.
Directed by Joshua Nawras and Felix Mortimer of The Ladder, with design by Jess Sharville, The Collector is a richly detailed theatrical experience where every object has a story.
Please note: This is an immersive, small-group experience. Audience numbers are strictly limited, so advance booking is essential.
