Two lovers confront a love that refuses to die in this daring new play by Cornish writer Solomon Bowden (Primates), starring Nigel Fairs (Translations, National Theatre) and Jenny Adams (The 39 Steps, TOUCH Theatre).
Solomon Bowden is a writer and director from Cornwall. His first play PRIMATES premiered at The Wren and Raven in Penzance, transferring to The Poly in Falmouth in April. His most recent film Prince of Tears released in 2025 starring Richard Strange and Mary Woodvine, his next film Sundog will shoot next year. His theatre series Kicks Like a Mule has featured performances from Mary Woodvine, Danny Webb, Susan Penhaligon, Nigel Fairs, Tim Cartwright, and Jenny Adams.
Nigel Fairs has performed at the National Theatre in Translations directed by the Oliver Award Nominated lan Rickson, also working extensively with Big Finish on multiple Doctor Who audio stories and beyond, some of which he wrote as well as performed in, through that having worked with the likes of David Warner, Celia Imrie, and Tom Baker.
Jenny Adams trained at the Hub Theatre School, The National Youth Theatre and Birmingham School of Dramatic Art, but decided to raise her children instead of taking up acting full time.
She has performed lead parts in many outdoor Shakespeare productions, including Macbeth, As You Like It, The Tempest, The Comedy of Errors and The Merry Wives of Windsor. As well as productions of The Dresser, 84 Charing Cross Road and The Glass Menagerie, recently touring Cornwall with TOUCH Theatre’s production of The 39 Steps.
Jenny has also worked with the Cornish Theatre Collective at The Minack and Trelissick Gardens.
