MSND
The myriad characters steal through distorted TV studios and into live streams, the lovers, fairies and actors ebb and flow throughout the space. The site-specific production uses the Victorian basement to house the characters, as the audience watch from within the same walls.
The sense not just of being in Prospero's private space but of going right into his head is acute, and the performance sets up a dynamic between real and imaginary worlds, inside and out, and what happens when different ways of thinking collide.
