Eyes Peeled & 99p Films Present: My Garden of a Thousand Bees

99p Films Present: The Cornwall Pollinator Film Tour An evening of film, food, and conversation celebrating pollinators across the county

Falmouth, Cornwall — 99p Films is bringing a special series of pollinator-themed screenings to audiences across Cornwall this September and October. The Cornwall Pollinator Film Tour will visit:

· Friday, 28 November 2025 – The Ladder, Redruth, 6–9pm (Collaboration with Eyes Peeled)

Tickets for all screenings are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. Booking is available at www.99pfilms.com. All venues are fully accessible, with step-free access and disabled toilets.

The featured film at each stop is the acclaimed documentary My Garden of 1000 Bees, followed by a curated selection of short films, including MOTHMAN and The Last Garden, that explore the remarkable lives of bees and other pollinators. These events are designed to highlight the essential role these creatures play in our ecosystems, encouraging audiences to look more closely at the world around them.

True to 99p Films’ ethos, each screening follows a four-part structure: BREATHE – WATCH – DISCUSS – EAT. Audiences begin with mindful breathing to help them arrive and feel present, then watch the films. This is followed by an open group discussion, and the evening ends with a shared, locally sourced vegetarian meal.

"This isn’t just a film night," says Alex Fish, founder of 99p Films. "It’s a way of building connection with each other and the world we live in. By focusing on bees, we’re inviting people to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the vital role even the smallest creatures play in our shared environment."

Notes to Editors 99p Films C.I.C. is a community interest cinema that goes beyond traditional screenings by combining film with mindful breathing, discussion, and communal meals.
