🎬 EYES PEELED PRESENTS: AN EVENING OF FILM, BIRTH & CONVERSATION
3rd December | From 6.30pm | Tickets £5
Join Eyes Peeled for a special evening celebrating birth, birth work, identity and the people challenging the way we think about care.
We'll be screening two thought-provoking films:
DOULA – followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Luca Piercey
An atmospheric portrait of Jo Piercey: a birth doula, mother and rebel, fighting to change the way we think about birth.
TEDDY – by Lauren Santucci
A security guard by day, a birth doula by calling. Set in Houston, Teddy follows Timothy Gant Jr. as he supports Black mothers through childbirth, challenging expectations around masculinity, fatherhood and care.
We're also hoping to welcome a doula for a pre-screening talk and conversation. This is currently TBC, so watch this space for confirmation!
Come along for an evening of film, discussion and community.
🎟️ Tickets: £5 🕡 From 6.30pm 📅 3rd December
All ticket proceeds will go towards the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
We look forward to seeing you there!
