As part of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, The Writers’ Block and Spilt Milk are delighted to bring you this workshop with Hannah Ray. Half of every ticket sold will go directly to this vital cause - come along, and your presence makes a difference.
An open, inclusive workshop for writers wanting to explore a new feminist angle to their work. Join Hannah for 90 minutes of writing prompts, reading, exploration and co-writing to uncover ways to connect with feminist stories, characters, and narratives in your own writing. Come with: an open mind, readiness to test new ideas in a safe space, and start the beginnings of a fresh way to look at the world through your writing in this 90-minute workshop. You do not need to be an experienced or published writer to join. The workshop will explore both fictional writing and creative nonfiction. Leave with: new inspiration, ideas, and a broader perspective glance and awareness to take your own writing project forward.
